A cruise ship has so much going on that you can create your own style of vacation.
Your vacation can be a romantic vacation for you and your partner, a fun-filled cruise for a small group of your friends or it can be a wild party every day - like any vacation, it's what you make of it.
There are plenty of on-board parties to enjoy as well as a non-stop festive atmosphere. After enjoying a meal at one of the many dining choices, you can take in a big show in the ship's theater or relax with a drink in one of the small lounges or intimate performing spaces. Enjoy a leisurely stroll on the deck under the stars with a new friend. During the day, when not in port, you can lounge by the pools, relax in the spa or even catch a game of Bingo (Helen Holy is not to be missed!).

Most days there is an afternoon "tea-dance" and most nights there is a late night dance party that can go until 2, 3 or 4am, depending on how late the crowd feels like dancing the night away! But you don't have to partake in all of them, or any of them! Some guests bring elaborate costumes, and some just bring colored t-shirts and shorts (or underwear!) - it all depends on what you want to do and how you want to spend your time. There are a lot of guys joining the parties in 'regular" clothes just taking it all in and having a great time (and taking lots of photos!).
There's no shortage of things to do when you get into port. You'll get a complete guide to each port, like this, provided by the cruise line. This is from the RSVP Caribbean 2017 cruise, provided by Holland America.
And if you want more of an adventure to really explore a port, the cruise line provides excursions of all types, and all activity levels. Some activities include meals, snacks, some last an hour or two and some last five to six hours - you get to decide. This Journeys Ashore catalog from the RSVP Caribbean 2017 cruise gives you an idea of the variety of excursions you can find on every cruise. You'll be able to book these well in advance of your trip, and on board if you like to decide last minute. Many popular excursions sell out, so booking in advance is always recommended. Talk with Troy about whether you should book in advance.
